Rich Barr is the Co-owner and COO of The Maryland and Delaware Group of eXp Realty, based in Salisbury, Maryland. One of the best and busiest in the country, ranked at its former brokerage by Real Trends as No. 1 in the state of Maryland and No. 5 in the nation in 2023.
After selling a highly profitable heavy duty truck dealership group in 2015, Rich first got into real estate as an active and successful investor and in late 2016 jumped in real estate full time. Since then, Rich has brokered the sale of over 1,500 homes and additionally renovated and sold over 500.
Today, Rich is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 25-agent team as well as more than 19 real estate related companies, he and his partner, Brandon Brittingham, own.
Additionally, he continues to be an extremely active real estate investor and entrepreneurial mentor.

What is The MD & DE Groups Background and Experience?
We’ve been investing in real estate for about 16 years now, with hundreds of projects under our belt. We have close to 500 doors of our own personal real estate assets. This includes everything from multifamily apartments to Airbnb’s, to single family houses. We’ve flipped 60 to 70 properties a year for years now. We own a development company, we developed land for National home builders. We own a new home construction company and have built between 50 and 75 houses a year. We own a huge Property Management Division, where we manage a thousand plus properties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware and run the number one Real Estate Team in the State of Maryland, and number two in the United States.
